It is safe to assume that you can expect saturation in the fighting game market for the first half of this year, which is not necessarily a bad thing if you are a huge fighting game fan. Bandai Namco is aware of that, but still wants to remind you that Dragon Ball Xenoverse is coming next month.
You can check out the recently streamed fourth promotional trailer for the game.
The new promotional trailer reveals the major characters present in the game such as Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Krillin, Future Trunks, Kid Gohan, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Super Saiyan IV Gogeta, and more.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse also allows you to play the villain characters like Frieza, Nappa, Captain Ginyu, the Ginyu Squad members, Majin Buu, Super 17, and one of the evil humanoid Shenlong Dragons.
Whis, Beerus, and Saiyan God Goku from Dragon Ball: Battle of Gods are also playable.
If you buy the first-day edition of Dragon Ball Xenoverse on its February 24th North American release, then Super Saiyan IV Vegeta becomes available. If you purchase the first-day edition on its February 7th Japanese release, then the titular Jaco from Jaco the Galactic Patrolman becomes available.
Jaco the Galactic Patrolman was created by Akira Toriyama in 2013 and served as a direct prequel to Dragon Ball.
No bonus content was mentioned for the European release on February 27th.
The story of Dragon Ball Xenoverse focuses on your custom made player, an intergalactic time agent like Captain Jack Harkness from Dr. Who andTorchwood. You are summoned by Future Trunks and the Supreme Kai of Time to prevent the history of Dragon Ball from being destroyed.
You will cross paths with newcomers and game antagonists Mira and Towa.
A new antagonist, Domigura, is introduced lurking in the shadows behind Mira and Towa.
